My New Scrapbooking Cricut Gypsy

I am very excited today! My Cricut Gypsy came in the mail and I can’t wait to start scrapbooking!! Unfortunately, it didn’t come with a manual, but you can download it here.

I was playing with it in the car today, because it comes with a car charger and I was planning out my latest cricut scrapbooking project: Home renovations! My husband and I are trying to switch to “greener” methods of energy by building solar panels and small wind turbines. I thought it would be great to make an energy themed section of my latest scrapbook with pictures of the kids helping and my husband fiddling with tools!

So, of course I use Sure Cuts a Lot along with some lightbulb and recyling shapes and some filigree leaves to add some class to the pages.

Anyways, about the Gypsy, I can’t recommend it enough. I want to keep it in my purse and take it to doctor appointments, and on the bus where I’ll look like a kid playing with my new amazing toy! For those that are electronically impaired, don’t fret. I am no computer genius but it took me about five minutes to figure out the cricut gypsy.

Scrapbooking with Cricut has never been as fun as it is now with the Gypsy, it’s extraordinary.

  1. I was wondering if you were able to get a wind turbine with the sure cuts a lot? I have been asked to make some window stickers but I haven’t been able to find a modern wind turbine. Thanks
